Patricia (Patty) Solomon is a coloratura soprano originally from Nassau, Bahamas. Now living in Geneva, Switzerland, she has sung with the Geneva Amateur Operatic Society in various musical evenings, shows and concerts, and as a member of the professional chorus engaged for the opera « Le Procès de Michel Servet » composed by singer and musician Shauna Beesley. She is currently a member of the Ensemble Jean-Philipe Rameau as well as its chambre choir and has sung the Miserere of Allegri, Testimomia Tua of Mondonville and other such reperatoire with both groups. Patty has appeared in the « Concerts d’été » series and frequently sings sacred music with the pianist/organist Mako Watanabe-Hayafuji. Firstly working with Lisa Wingard, she now studies singing with Peter Jeffes who has helped her find her niche as a very high soprano.
